CALLING ALL POTENTIAL TEACHERS OF THE FUTURE!

We are excited to be offering primary Initial Teacher Training for ages 5-11 through the Hampshire LEARN SCITT Partnership for 2019 – 2020. We are part of a network of 10 local schools all offering placements with a vision to deliver high-quality, inspiring training for the teachers of tomorrow. We are currently providing an outstanding programme to our trainees this year and now have places available for the year 2019-2020. The flyer is on our school website.

If you, or anyone you know, would be interested in training to teach with us, please visit www.learnalliance.org.uk/scitt or email info@learnalliance.org.uk We would love to hear from you!

BEQUEST TO THE SCHOOL.

We recently received a donation of £500 from the estate of the late Margaret Stone who recently passed away. She lived locally and worked for the local authority for many years. After her retirement she volunteered at the school. Sadly I didn’t have the opportunity to meet Margaret but we all thank her most sincerely for thinking about this school. We will use the money to purchase more outdoor resources for the children to enjoy.

BOOK FAIR.

Following a very successful book fair last week, we would like to let you know of an exciting exclusive offer from the Book People. To further our fundraising, they will give us 10% of the value of every order you place to spend on books! You will also receive £5 off when you spend £25, as a thank you for helping our school! Just visit www.thebookpeople.co.uk/school/fundraising and enter the fundraising code OEKOHar. This offer expires on Thursday 31st  January 2019, so there is plenty of time to buy all those Christmas presents!
