Newsletter. Week beginning Monday January 14th 2019.
Dear Parents and Carers,
WELL DONE!
I am delighted to report that an amazing 211 children took home their 95% or above attendance certificate last week. 95% is considered a good level of attendance. We know that good school attendance is directly linked to good academic outcomes and hence improving children’s life chances.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
Multi-sports and Football will commence this week and dance resumes Friday 25th January 2019. Parents are asked to collect their children from outside the music and drama room via the main gates rather than via the car park. We will open the gates a few minutes before the club’s finish time.
BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL
Please ensure your children are with you at all times at pick up and drop off times. The site is very busy and we are by a road. Please do not let your children on the play equipment or green areas. Many thanks.
EASTLEIGH FUN RUN
The annual Eastleigh Fun Run takes place on Sunday March 24th. Due to the popularity of the event there are two runs: 9-12 years starts at 11.00am and 4-8 years starts at 11.20am. Every year lots of our children take part. Every child who takes part will receive a medal and memento. Entry forms are available on www.runningmania.co.uk
CIVVIES DAY AND CAKE SALE
Thursday 14th February 2018 will be 'Civvies Day' and Cake Sale organised by SHINE. We ask that those children and staff wishing to participate in Civvies Day by wearing non uniform, bring cakes for us to sell at 3.15pm in the Hive.
If your child would like to participate, we would appreciate any contributions of homemade or shop bought cakes to sell. We would be grateful if you could please ensure that any cakes supplied do not contain any nuts.
