Dear Parents and Carers,

STAFF UPDATES.

I am delighted to report that baby Martha Ramsdale arrived safely last Thursday weighing in at a healthy 8lbs 3oz. Both mum and baby are doing very well.

From September we will be welcoming three new teachers to our school. Miss Florence Kinchin will join the Year R team and Miss Carleigh O’Boyle and Miss Chloe McCabe will join the year 1 team. Mrs Wiles and Mrs Woodcock are both retiring this summer. More about that later in the term!!

YEAR 1 ART EXHIBITIONS THIS WEEK.

Year 1 children will be showcasing their art sculptures this week as detailed in the letter sent home to year 1 families last week.

WATER BOTTLES, HATS AND PE KITS.

In school every day please. Many thanks.

YEAR 2 STREETS AHEAD TRAINING.

Please could parents and carers of year 2 children return their streets ahead letter as soon as possible. Many thanks.

CHANGE OF MENU THIS WEEK.

Thursday 17 May, the school menu will be changing in celebration of the Royal Wedding. The Red Dinner will be Royal Chicken Fillet, Duchess Potatoes or Regal Roast Potatoes and Windsor Castle medley of vegetables. The Green Dinner will be Vegetarian Quorn Fillet with the same choice of potatoes and vegetables. Both meals will come with a dessert of either St George’s Trifle or Prince Harry and Megan’s Cake.

FACEBOOK.

Please do use our school Facebook page. It is regularly checked (at least twice a day) and we can respond quickly to queries.

We are aware there are other Facebook pages linked to the school. These are not endorsed by us and we can’t respond to queries or correct misconceptions that are posted on there. Many thanks.
