Dear Parents and Carers,

 

NEW OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT.

We have a new boat installed in our outdoor role play area as well as an extension to our trim trail. I am sure the children will love these additions to our super outdoor environment.

 

SUMMER READING CHALLENGE RESULTS.

Well done to children and families who completed the summer reading challenge at Eastleigh library. We came joint first in the Eastleigh library summer reading challenge with 14% of our children completing the challenge. Well done to our super readers!!

 

LUNCHTIME SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT VACANCY.

We have a vacancy for a lunch time supervisor from November. If you are interested you will find all of the information on our website under vacancies.

 

PARENT GOVERNOR VACANCY.

We have a vacancy for a parent governor. If you are interested in this role please do contact me to discuss further. Application forms are available in the school office. There is also more information about school governance on the Hampshire County Council website.

 

PARENTS EVENING

Parents Evenings will be on Monday, 8th October and Tuesday, 9th October. You can book your slot with your child’s teacher via our online payments system, www.scopay.com. Parents of Year R children will have received a letter last week about how to register for this system.

Please note, if you are logging into scopay.com via a smartphone, please do not use the Tucasi mobile site as it does not support Parents Evening functionality as yet. Instead, select ‘Cancel’ on the prompt and load the full scopay.com site.

 

SCHOOL DINNERS – THURSDAY 4TH AND FRIDAY 5th OCTOBER

On Thursday, 4th October the lunch menu will be the Friday menu, ie, Baked fish fingers and chips with tomato ketchup or Cheese and red lentil flan with new potatoes, and on Friday we will be serving the Thursday menu, ie, Baked pork sausages and vegetarian meat free balls.

 

FLU VACCINATION – THURSDAY OCTOBER 11TH

The School Nurse Team will be popping in this week to collect the flu immunisation consent forms. There is still time to sign your child up for the nose spray. Please return the consent forms to the office by Tuesday 2nd October.

 

BRIGHT SMILES, BRIGHT FUTURES SCHEME

As part of an initiative from the British Dental Association, we have been given toothbrushes and toothpaste samples for every child. Your child will be bringing these home on Tuesday.
