Dear Parents and Carers,

PARENT GOVERNOR VACANCY.

Would you like to be more involved in the school and help to continue to improve our lovely school as well as finding out what goes on behind the scenes in education today? If so I would love to hear from you. We have a vacancy for a parent governor. If you are interested in this role please do come and see me for more information and an application form. We are looking for someone interested in the curriculum as the role will involve being part of the Standards Committee looking at, amongst other things, the academic and wider curriculum. The role also involves attending one full governing body meeting per half term. These are held usually on a Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8.30pm. There is also a commitment to attend one committee meeting per half term. This vacancy, as mentioned above, would require attendance at the Standards Committee. These are held half termly usually on Wednesday from 4.00pm until 5.30pm.
