Dear Parents and Carers,

 

INDUCTION MORNING

This Thursday morning the children will visit their new class for September. If your child is not going to be at this school or Shakespeare Junior School in September then they do not need to be in school until after lunch (1.00pm). All children will come to this school in the morning as usual and then we take them to their new class ./ school after registration.

Year 2 children who are going to Shakespeare Junior School will need to do the following if they would like a school meal:

  • Order their meal in their class at this school in the morning with their class teacher

  • If your child does not require a school meal they need to bring in a packed lunch

 

SPORTS AFTERNOONS

We are planning to re -schedule the sports event for each year group as follows:

Tuesday July 11th 2.00- 3.00 Year R

Thursday July 13th 2.00- 3.00 Year 1

Monday July 17th 2.00 – 3.00 Year 2

Same arrangements as before. Let’s hope the weather behaves this time…!

 

ANNUAL PARENTAL FEEDBACK.

This year our annual questionnaire is available on our website. We have created a survey monkey to make it much easier for all parents and carers to respond. We really appreciate your input and suggestions about how we can improve. We have made many positive changes over the years directly as a result of parents’ useful feedback. AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

This is the last week for all our After School Clubs. We do hope the children have enjoyed them. Parents of Drama Club children please note that their final performance will take place this Thursday at 2.15pm and there will be no after school club for them on that day.

 

 

PROKICK CHALLENGE.

Please could any outstanding money be brought to school by tomorrow (Tuesday). Many thanks.

 

 

FAMILY FUN EVENT.

Our Family Fun event will take place on Friday 14th July, 3.15 -5.15pm. There will be lots of stalls and things to buy, but we will need volunteers to be on the stalls. Everything will be set up for you, so if you are able to assist for half an hour during the afternoon, please let Mrs Kesterson know, we would be very grateful. Also, if any families have a small gazebo we can borrow to put stalls under, please also contact Mrs Kesterson. We need quite a few! Many thanks.

Thursday July 6th Induction morning when children spend the morning in their new class or new school

Tuesday July 11th 9.20am Class 4 Titanic assembly for parents in the hall

Wednesday July 12th 9.20am Class 5 Titanic assembly for parents in the hall

Thursday July 13th  9.20am Class 6 Titanic assembly for parents in the hall

Friday July 14th family fun event straight after school until 5.30pm

Tuesday July 18th 9.15am – 9.45am Year R mini-beast expo for parents

Thursday July 20th 2.00pm Year 2 leavers’ assembly (crèche available-details to follow)

Monday July 24th 2pm thank-you coffee afternoon in the hall for anyone

who has helped the school in anyway over the academic year

Monday July 24th term ends (Tuesday July 25th is an INSET day)
