We also set curricular targets for Literacy and Numeracy for each year group.  An example being  “75% of all children in Year 1 to be able to read and spell all of the Year 1 key words”.  These targets are always available should you wish to see them.

From September 2015 end of Key Stage 1 attainment will not be reported as levels as per the government’s new policy.  We will instead set numerical targets linked to the age related expectations for each year group. For example: "95% of children to reach age related expectations in Year 2".  These targets will be cohort driven, i.e. using information from the children’s prior attainment in order to predict results in Year 2.
