Welcome Letter

Welcome to Shakespeare Infant School

May we take this opportunity to warmly welcome you to Shakespeare Infant School.

We believe that the first years in school are the most important and can shape your child’s attitudes to learning and school long after they leave us.

Our aims make clear that our focus is on providing high quality teaching and learning.  How we put this into practice is what makes our school special.  We are friendly, welcoming and caring towards all members of the school community. Each child is valued for their own talents, strengths and personality.  If you would like to visit the school, please ring the above number and ask for an appointment.

We hope to raise self-esteem by positive attitudes, develop independence and achieve success for every child by carefully differentiating learning to meet all levels of ability.

Our dedicated staff team positively encourage parents and families becoming part of the school, valuing the positive effect this has on our children’s learning.

Our excellent Ofsted Report identifying us as an outstanding school exemplifies our commitment to high academic standards as well as our firm belief that personal, social, creative and technical skills are crucial for our children’s future success.

Our Active Schools Mark, Arts Mark, Healthy Schools Award, Investors in People Award, Trailblazer (Gold) Award  also serve to reflect our commitment to a broad curriculum and encouraging our children to lead active, healthy lives.

We wish your child every success during their time at Shakespeare Infant School.

With best wishes,
