Who will help?

• Our SENCo would be the first point of contact for these support services. They can also be accessed via the local authority page.

These external agencies offer training and staff development opportunities, which Shakespeare staff access where necessary.

A range of specialised intervention programmes is delivered to cover the specific needs of our children. These range from mathematics intervention to Speech and language programmes. All staff are kept up to date and have regular training to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils.

• If you have any concerns about your child please talk to us. First, contact your child’s class teacher, who will then refer to our SENCo (Mrs Upton Jones). This can be done at parent meetings or by making an appointment so you have plenty of time to share your concerns.

• Our SENCo Mrs Upton Jones runs a drop in clinic every Monday from 8.50am in the butterfly room. She will be happy to listen and respond to your concerns.
