Funday 2015

Governor Visit Report

Who: Heather Mballa

Purpose of visit: Fun Day

Fun day 2015 was heralded by beautiful sunshine!   It has been a great year for PE within the school in particular for Y2 who have benefitted from additional  football coaching at lunchtimes from Matt le Tissier's coaching team and cricket skills.

Outside agencies showcased their involvement with our school by running a selection of competitive and non -competitive  activities.  This included 'Uptown Funk ' in the court yard. Aka  Inverse musical statues for parents; you start dancing when your child looks over to check your participation!

My daughter's particular favourite was the treasure game where the teams have to guard against their balls being stolen whilst filching their opponents!  A reflection on her cheeky disposition?

As the rotation of activities continued the children were adorned with rosette stickers and each received a participation medal which gave a sense of achievement to end a fantastic morning.
