Newsletter - Week beginning Monday November 11th 2019

Dear Parents and Carers,

APPROPRIATE SCHOOL SHOES.

We want all of the children to enjoy playtimes and be able to run around safely. Please ensure your child has appropriate shoes that fit and fasten well. Slip-ons are not advisable as they can come off when running, skipping etc. Boots are not advisable either as they are not comfortable when sitting on the carpet, not great for running in and children’s feet can get hot and uncomfortable. Clearly trainers are not appropriate school uniform and are not permitted.

BOOK FAIR TUESDAY NOVEMBER 12th AND WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 13th  3.15–4.15pm IN THE HALL

Don’t forget to visit our book fair this week. With over 150 titles to choose from and books with up to 75% off there should be plenty of bargains! The hall will be open for you to come along with your child on Tuesday Nov 12th and Wednesday Nov 13th from 3.15 – 4.15pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Our wonderful bunting looks amazing and well done to all of the children. The winners of the bunting competition are:

CHILDREN IN NEED- FRIDAY 15th NOVEMBER

It is Children in Need this Friday 15th  November so children (and staff!) can come to school wearing something spotty. The rest of their clothing must be school uniform.  If you would like to, please send in a contribution. Please hand in to your child’s class teacher.

YEAR 2 GREAT FIRE OF LONDON WORKSHOP.

To enhance and support the Great Fire of London project the year 2 children will be experiencing an amazing in school drama workshop this Friday. We have a wonderful company of professional actors and actresses working with the children in the hall. The cost of this is £5.95 per child and we would really appreciate (voluntary) contributions towards the cost of this lovely event. Thank-you.
