Newsletter - Week beginning Monday November 4th 2019

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back! I hope you had a lovely half term.

BOOK FAYRE TUESDAY NOVEMBER 12th AND WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 13th 3.15–4.15pm IN THE HALL

We are holding a competition during school this week for children to win a book, to celebrate our book fair which is being held next week. The children will also be coming home with a wish list to let you know if there are any books that they would really like from the fair. There is absolutely no obligation to buy these books, they are just a suggestion should you wish to attend. After last year’s amazing result we hope you come along. The more you buy, the more books we get for our school library ….it’s a win win!

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL NOT BE ANY AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS APART FROM DRAMA ON THESE TWO DATES DUE TO THE FAYRE BEING IN THE HALL.

CHILDREN IN NEED- FRIDAY 15th NOVEMBER

It is Children in Need on Friday 15th November so children (and staff!) can come to school wearing something spotty. The rest of their clothing must be school uniform.  If you would like to, please send in a contribution. Please hand in to your child’s class teacher.

REMEMBRANCE

Poppies will be available to purchase this week (until Monday November 11th ).    Year 2 children will come around the classes each morning so please send in money in a sealed envelope should you wish your child to buy a poppy.

GOVERNOR VACANCIES

Welcome to our two new governors Alexandra Cutler and Gemma Gubbins. Thank-you to everyone who voted.
