Governor Vacancies

Shakespeare Infants is currently seeking applicants for Governor vacancies to help strengthen governance and support the school’s continued success. Governors play an important role in shaping strategic priorities, monitoring progress, and ensuring the school remains focused on high-quality provision for all pupils.

These vacancies are a valuable opportunity for parents and/or members of the local community who are interested in contributing their time, skills, and experience. Whether you have expertise in education, safeguarding, finance, community engagement, or business and operations, your input can make a meaningful difference to how the school is led and how decisions are made.

As part of the governing body, you will work collaboratively with fellow governors and school leaders. The role involves attending meetings, reviewing information and reports, and contributing to discussions that support school improvement. Full training and induction are provided, and safeguarding responsibilities are central to the work of the governing body.
