SCHOOL MILK SCHEME

Our school provides a milk scheme that is available to all of our pupils following a change in the School Food Plan by the Government and we would like to invite you to register your child. School milk is free for all under-fives and is subsidised for pupils aged five or older at around £16 a term (currently 24p per carton, rising to 25p carton on 1st April 2022).

How to register - Milk is completely free for all children aged under five and is subsidised for children aged five or older.

Simply register at www.coolmilk.com

My child is under five

• Just register by a Tuesday 5pm for your child’s free milk to start the following week.

• Free milk will continue until the Friday before your child’s fifth birthday. You will receive a payment request three weeks before this time- if you wish your child to continue to receive school milk simply make a payment.

My child is five or older

• Register online as soon as possible. Shortly after registering you will receive a payment request.

• You can pay Cool Milk either online, over the phone, at a local PayPoint or by cheque in half-termly, termly or annual instalments.

• Please pay by Tuesday 5pm for your child’s milk to start the following week.

• Please note that payment is required in advance, otherwise your child will not receive any milk. All payments are made direct to Coolmilk, please do not send any money into the school office.

   

  My child is five or older and eligible for free school meals or is eligible for pupil premium funding

• Register online as soon as possible. The school will then arrange to pay for your milk. Please see www.hants.gov.uk/hc3s/freeschoolmeals for eligibility.

Please note that children who do not wish to have the milk continually will be withdrawn from the scheme, as you can appreciate this scheme can become wasteful so please ensure that your child will want to have the milk daily.
